Hello again! So this month I finished the last project this year for Ed Shepherd (Unless he happens to need something!) and I worked on a new project filming a meeting of Conspicy theorists, it was very interesting! English Heritage started posting all the footage I edited on their social media too, looks really good!

Also working on the website a bit, doing some graphics and more than anything working on another business venture I hope will take off in the future.

Thanks for reading!

Hello there!

So this month I've just flat out been working with Ed Sheperd and been getting a ton of work from him as well as working for him, its been great and really busy for me and has provided all the work I've needed as of late!

I've been going around English Heritage sites filming with him as well as a few other sites too. We've done a lot of drone filming basically and one conference too for the Royal Agricultural college in Cirencester.

Next up I'm planning to do some promotion of my ...

Hello there!

So this month I edited the barn theatre in Cirencester's 'The Little Shop of Horrors' theatre show. I filmed two nights of the show and had to edit about 3 hours of footage together onto one DVD, compressing it onto one DVD was quite painful to say the least, as the quality goes down horribly, but ultimately what the client wants, the client gets! So I made it work as best I could. At first when testing the DVD I found the bass was too powerful so had to redo the audio to compensa...

Hello there!

So this month had its up, and then unfortunately quite a major down. So this month I have been working with Ed Shepherd Photography to produce videos and we make quite the editing and shooting team, looking forward to more work with him.

However, I was taken onto my first feature film as the main editor, "The Journey of the Louisiana", then sadly, it was taken by someone else who they'd already worked with in the past, and whom I have known since college. Quite melancholy in genera...

Hello there!

I've finished Cotswold Claptons videos now, just trying to get them to pick them up!
Further, I've now started a crowdfunding page to try and achieve more with the documentary I am filming. Please do take a look! https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-lady-of-the-knight-women-in-medieval-sports-history--2/x/15295095

Also unfortunately the wedding is no longer happening, projects like this fall through all the time is the ugly reality of this industry. On the plus side it allows me t...

Hello there!

So this month has been relatively quite due to University. I am now working on several potential projects as part of that and have been dropped from one already which is the reality of this industry!

So I am making as my main time commitment and project about Medieval jousting. I can't say too much more than that though at this stage! And also looking to do a music video as another project. Further to that I am also planning to shoot a wedding at the end of the year too for which ...

Hello there!

So this month I've been working on Cotswold Claptons edit. I've been waiting for feedback before I continue Wychwoods edit too. For the most part this has been one of those months where I just apply for work while working on a time consuming project, its getting there, but its a long edit as I'm doing my best to make sure there's no moments that aren't visually perfect in the edit. Also waiting for the audio to come back too. Otherwise not much is going on to be honest, I'm on hol...

Hello,

Well this month I've been almost entirely focused on the Ministry of Sound work I am doing. However, I have also edited a promo for Wychwood festival and will continue to do so in August alongside Cotswold Claptons work. I am currently typing this at The Ministry of Sound while I have some free time! I'm working on some videos to promote what the Ministry considers to be the top 25 albums. Exciting stuff, I've also edited a video about a party in a glacier, some promo stuff for a Swedi...

Hello there!

Wow, this has been an incredibly busy time and its getting busier still! I literally just had a phonecall from an old client to ask for my help short notice. Being able to deliver a professional service and knowing clients can call you back knowing you can deliver is a satisfying feeling and I'm glad to be able to say I am at that point in my career! So yes in anycase, I'll be filming an interview at Wembly Stadium tomorrow.

As for work I've recently done, I recently filmed a clas...

Hello,

This month has had its up and downs to be honest, however, we've secured some work to produce a music video on a Red Epic next month. We're very excited and can't wait to use a red epic again. We've also shot and edited a Malaysian wedding along with shooting a match of the Gloucestershire All Golds. I shot the close ups, the interviews and the opening.

I'm also in the process of editing a drama and a documentary, I've also got other projects I am considering uploading too.

Hello,

Wow, this has been a busy month for us. But an enjoyable one, I much prefer being busy!
So, I'll keep it short and simple. I've edited and published a number of videos this month, seen below:

Quite a mixture of edits above from 4k 300fps footage to festival footage. I've also been filming for a drama, which involved a 12 hour shoot, very exhausting but we all felt the effort was worth it. Some photos can be seen on the links below: https://www.facebook.com/HeatsProductions/posts/92735...

Hello there,

This month is rather exciting, so long as everything goes to plan we'll be filming a commercial for an American brand on the 12, 13th, 19th or 20th. Depending on availability of equipment, actors etc that will be put on select American TV channels

Its an exciting opportunity for which we're looking for a Production Assistant and of course an actor, who is happy to endorse said product. We'll be producing a minute and a 30 second advert in 300fps using a Red Epic camera. Along with ...

Hello,

It seems the director most of those plays I mentioned last month, Chris Sivewright from ART (almost random theater) http://www.almostrandomtheatre.co.uk/ was happy with the last videos so now we have continued on to produce more videos. We recently used a village hall in Ampney Crucis as a studio space, its cost effective, easy to clean up and has a lot of natural light should it have been needed so was a perfect location for some interviews.

We will soon be working for the Swindon Counc...

Hello,

A few updates, Bill Masters videos are still in post production (most are done now) along with a birthday party and the media make up show from Swindon College students. We tried something a little extra and new for this, a live feed to the internet http://www.ustream.tv/channel/heatsproductions

The most time consuming part of any videographers time is definitely the editing. It can take weeks, even months to do a professional edit especially when juggling many commitments.
We also dona...

Reviews, Payments and Christmas!

Hello,
Just a quick post to say we've got some new reviews up of The Hobbit and The Walking Dead!

Also, as an expanding Gloucestershire/Wiltshire business, we've felt its necessary to be able to provide multiple ways to pay. With that in mind, next year when we're at your events we'll be able to take payment from Credit and Debit cards of these types: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club
Which is a huge step up for us in terms of convenience for our clients as I am sure none of...

Swindon College and The vooz

Posted by Liam Taylor on Thursday, September 13, 2012, In : 2012 Blog Posts
Hello
I am now attending Swindon College doing a HND in Interactive Media. The course so far seems quite well built with friendly staff and students who seem to be similar to myself. However the traveling is quite a chore since I am from Cirencester and its very exhausting but for a HND and the skills I'll be able to bring to this business and else where in my own life is definetly worth it. They never said it would be easy

I will soon be directing and producing a music video for the vooz's son...

Hello, I have been successful with my interview to do a HND at Swindon College, I shall now be attending there starting from September the 13th. I'm quite excited to be training to enhance the services I offer, I will be available still most of the time, the days I am going to be attending Swindon College have not be discussed much yet but I believe its Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during the day that I will be unavailable. However I will make every attempt to work things out with Swindon C...

Update

Posted by Liam Taylor on Saturday, July 7, 2012, In : 2012 Blog Posts
Hello, in regards to my previous posts about University, the two places I hoped to attend have both been denied funding this year (typical) and one also didn't have enough students apply, so I shall no longer be pursing that path. Instead I will be aiming for an honours degree via a local college, I am awaiting responses on this. The good thing about this is that its cheaper and local.

In other news, as you can see I have updated the website a little bit and soon I will be writing reviews abou...
