Hello again! So this month I finished the last project this year for Ed Shepherd (Unless he happens to need something!) and I worked on a new project filming a meeting of Conspicy theorists, it was very interesting! English Heritage started posting all the footage I edited on their social media too, looks really good!

Also working on the website a bit, doing some graphics and more than anything working on another business venture I hope will take off in the future.

Thanks for reading!

Hello there, so in September I was working more for Ed Shepherd Photography, finishing up the season working with English Heritage and also filmed statues in London which went up for auction for millions. All interesting projects!

Hello there!

So this month I edited the barn theatre in Cirencester's 'The Little Shop of Horrors' theatre show. I filmed two nights of the show and had to edit about 3 hours of footage together onto one DVD, compressing it onto one DVD was quite painful to say the least, as the quality goes down horribly, but ultimately what the client wants, the client gets! So I made it work as best I could. At first when testing the DVD I found the bass was too powerful so had to redo the audio to compensa...

Hello there!

So this month I finished my 10 minute documentary version and its not available for public viewing unfortunately, however if you really want to see it let me know and I'll forward you a link privately. I also picked up some work for June and am writing this while I wait for a new Cirencester based theatre to start their new show "The Little Shop of Horrors", which I am filming and capturing audio for. I will then be making DVD's once edited from them so that's exciting and is enou...

Hello there!

Sorry about not posting to this blog last month but here's an update about January, I've been settling back into work. I've been helping on studio shows and applying for every opportunity left right and centre! Its a bit slow right now but it will pick up soon.

I'm currently working on a documentary called The Lady of The Knight. Also work maybe going ahead with filming villas as per the last blog, he was incredibly interested in working with me when his work picks up, so we'll s...

Hello there!

I've finished Cotswold Claptons videos now, just trying to get them to pick them up!
Further, I've now started a crowdfunding page to try and achieve more with the documentary I am filming. Please do take a look! https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-lady-of-the-knight-women-in-medieval-sports-history--2/x/15295095

Also unfortunately the wedding is no longer happening, projects like this fall through all the time is the ugly reality of this industry. On the plus side it allows me t...

Hello,

This month I've done a variety of things. From filming a studio show to doing a free project for the University of Gloucestershire Sustainability team as well as returning to CommunicateTV to do some editing. I also took some photos of Cotswold Clapton who I am filming their debut show of at the beginning of June. Further to that, I am working on Flogit on the 26th in Worcester as well as more CommunicateTV work and possibly filming Lechlade festival too. Then the next week I will be fi...

Hello there!

Wow, this has been an incredibly busy time and its getting busier still! I literally just had a phonecall from an old client to ask for my help short notice. Being able to deliver a professional service and knowing clients can call you back knowing you can deliver is a satisfying feeling and I'm glad to be able to say I am at that point in my career! So yes in anycase, I'll be filming an interview at Wembly Stadium tomorrow.

As for work I've recently done, I recently filmed a clas...

Hello,

This month I have been quite busy editing more of The Phoenix Festival footage while also doing some corrections to sound in post production for an old client. Basically too much background noise at a trade show and I've edited out all I could for them, but I found in overlaying the original sound with less DB's it boasts the sound of the edited version making the audio much clearer.

Here are two playlists of videos I've edited for The Phoenix Festival which takes place in Cirencester a...

Soon we will be editing a wedding and shooting footage of the All Golds professional rugby league matches.
For now however while we've got a little break we're going back to editing more of the phoenix festival footage, starting with Opusweed and then moving onto Duke.

November

Hello, a lot of my videos have gone live from over the last year (with many others still waiting for the go ahead) and are now all over the place on youtube which is pretty amazing that people value my work that much. Although some did do it without permission we've mutually worked around that rather than not allowing the band that did it to get more exposure with our footage seen here:

Got some footage floating around that I shot with Explain the Market too and with TurfTV.
Next I am doing 3...

Hello, I am soon to begin University studying Television Production. Still trying to sort out finances as I'm having to pay for it myself but I'm getting there.

Anyways, this month we filmed the phoenix festival again, we're in progress with editing bits of that and we're just finishing up with our 4k advert that will be shown around sports stores nationwide sooner or later (we're told October or November most likely)

Here's a preview of what we've been working on, but the client is going to tu...

Hello, this month I filmed Swindon Pride (as seen below) this is unlisted at the moment as we're waiting to hear back from the festival, so enjoy the exclusive! We've also got some interviews to put up, including one with Marcus Collins, as well as Marcus Collins performance.

We're also editing the commercial we filmed last month, waiting for some voice overs currently and we'll be filming The Phoenix Festival again this year, but we're as of yet unsure how much of it we'll film.
We've also got...

June Update

Posted by Liam Taylor on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, In : 2014 Blog Posts
Hello,

This month I went back and edited an old project that the phoenix festival wanted near the time of their new festival. The video can be seen below

I next plan to edit more of the bands videos from there. There are a few bands like Henry Green I didn't get the chance with to edit their video. However, now that I have finished my HND (Level 5 qualification) in Interactive media from Swindon College (which qualifies me to make websites, video and most things digital) achieving near top mar...

We're also seeing if we can acquire funding for an interesting idea that only requires some props, a website, a domain, maybe materials for a screening and we'll possibly havin...

Hello,
Just a quick post to say we've got some new reviews up of The Hobbit and The Walking Dead!

Also, as an expanding Gloucestershire/Wiltshire business, we've felt its necessary to be able to provide multiple ways to pay. With that in mind, next year when we're at your events we'll be able to take payment from Credit and Debit cards of these types: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club
Which is a huge step up for us in terms of convenience for our clients as I am sure none of...

Hello!
We've just updated our Testimonials, we've got some great recommendations from international and local businesses/bands
Can you "afford to not engage in our excellent services?"

Just to keep you updated with what I'm doing, recently I went to the Wyvern Theatre to help out Swindon College with filming an event put on by the Wiltshire Scouts! It was a great performance. I don't think I'll be able to upload the footage though, but if possible I definitely will. The show was called "The Swin...

Swindon College and The vooz

Posted by Liam Taylor on Thursday, September 13, 2012, In : 2012 Blog Posts
Hello
I am now attending Swindon College doing a HND in Interactive Media. The course so far seems quite well built with friendly staff and students who seem to be similar to myself. However the traveling is quite a chore since I am from Cirencester and its very exhausting but for a HND and the skills I'll be able to bring to this business and else where in my own life is definetly worth it. They never said it would be easy

I will soon be directing and producing a music video for the vooz's son...

Hello, we've been in contact from someone in America for a while now who has asked for our help with a project. We're quite excited, its for a charity that is in my own opinion pretty amazing but we can't say much more until we've finished the project.
Its to do with Afghanistan and other hot spots, we'll let you know the minute its finished! There is some hidden footage from the project that I can show a preview of to those who are interested however, just send us an email heatsproductions@go...
